Customers who love Microgreens will be thrilled to learn that we now have a regular vendor for them! Chris Brooks and his partner Rebecca Todd will be bringing their signature mix of radish, broccoli & wheat grass microgreens, to be cut fresh at the market. Also: handmade soy candles.

Dancing Goat Creamery of Byron Center

The creamery produces award winning Chevre cheese which is used at several local restaurants and is now available at Sweetwater!  Barbara Jenness is owner and Master Cheesemaker.

She will also bring a selection of Little Rooster Breads from the Lubbers Farm on-farm bakery run by son Casey Lubbers. Please check the Little Rooster website for a description of how these wonderful breads are produced.

Mund Farm of Rothbury

Greg & daughter Erin Mund will return with fresh picked asparagus this week!  The Mund Farm has been in the family since the 1900’s. It was originally a dairy farm, changing to fruit and vegetables in 1955. Greg started using organic practices in 1992, and went totally organic in 2009. The farm will apply for organic certification in 2010-11.
