Shady Side Farm of Holland
I just heard that there is going to be a football game this weekend. If you are inviting friends over to watch it, you might want to have food. To our surprise, one of our chef friends did a spot on two different Grand Rapids TV stations showing how to incorporate local food into your Superbowl celebration, including Shady Side Farm beans. Bloom Ferments of Grand Rapids
Bloom will be at the market with growlers of ginger and bottles of ginger and lavender hibiscus. Please remember to return your bottles! Jodie and I will be teaching a kraut and beet kvass class this Sunday (2/7) in Muskegon. There is still time to sign up and prepay at the market this Saturday!

Funny Farm of Grant
It’s time to start thinking about your CSA for this year. Ask about our early sign-up special at Funny Farm this year. We have adapted our CSA this year to allow you your choice of veggies for the week. We will add 10% to the amount you choose for the summer growing season. As an incentive for the early joiners, we will increase your premium by $20, so your $300 CSA will net you $350 in produce for the summer. Special offer good until Feb. 20. We offer a mid-week delivery if you have busy Saturdays during the summer. Small extra charge, but may be worth it for the convenience.
As we have downsized the garden recently, we may have to limit our membership in order to maintain our quality.
