Michigan’s Finest Mushrooms of Spring Lake
Pink Oyster Mushroom – has a taste similar to bacon or ham, which is intensified when cooked. Try some in an omelet with goat cheese. Beyond great taste these mushrooms also have medicinal benefits regarding immune system response.
Italian Oyster Mushroom – a meaty mushroom with a nutty flavor. Works well with a good steak.
All oyster mushrooms are a good source of protein, fiber, potassium, vitamin B6 and folate.
Will also have dried Maitake (hen of the woods).

*NEW THIS WEEK* GARLIC POWDER AND GRANULES
This summer our friends John and Kate, farmers at Little Red Organics, grew a huge crop of beautiful Music garlic.  They had more than they knew what to do with, so we took some and when the snow finally came, we spent many, many hours peeling each clove.  We dried it and powdered it, for incredible, local organic grown garlic powder. (no anti-caking agents added)  Good things happen when farmers collaborate!
