From November 20 through December 18 we will have 5 super holiday markets. All vendors are getting in the holiday spirit and will be offering free samples and great deals and ideas for holiday cooking and gifting!

*Stuffing & Bread Pudding Kits!

*PIE PIE PIE!!! – We’ll have some with us at market and there will be plenty more available next week. Drop by our booth or the shop for a taste Saturday! Special order is recommended (call 231-728-6383). Pear Fig Lemon Galette, Double Crust Apple, Dutch Apple Crumb, Buttermilk, Eggnog Custard, Pumpkin, Pecan, Dark Chocolate Pecan, and Multi-pie (1 quarter each of buttermilk, eggnog, pumpkin, and pecan)

*English Muffin Bread – Medium whole wheat bread with large holes in it for catching the butter. One of Gail’s favorites.

*Rolls – We’ll have all sorts of tasty, assorted rolls with us this weekend.  Be sure to stock up for Thanksgiving!  They freeze and reheat beautifully.  We can make gluten-free rolls, too.  They are available for special order on Tuesday and Wednesday, too.

*Cake – For the non-traditionalist, we also have cake available for special order: Pumpkin Spice, Eggnog, or Chocolate Stout with Irish Cream Frosting.

*Cinnamon Raisin Challah – Braids of Challah studded with raisins and cinnamon.

*Pecan Sticky Buns – mmmmm…. sticky buns….

Laughing Tree Brick Oven Bakery of Hart

A real, live person (Hilde Muller) from Laughing Tree Brick Oven Bakery will be coming to market this Saturday!
I will be there with at least seven varieties of our breads–come and sample some if you never have before!
Nearly all of our breads are naturally-leavened and all are baked in our wood-fired brick oven by my husband Charlie.  They range from $5-$8 a loaf and we are also happy to sell half loaves.

Daisy Doodles of Whitehall

Daisy will be back with plenty of freshly baked doodles, including her “Holiday Gingerbread Dogs” and “Santa’s Paws” stocking stuffers. It’s not too early for holiday planning, especially if the good little doggies on your list live out of town!

We’ll have a few dozen fresh free-range, non-GMO supplemented eggs as well. The girls are holding their own in this cold. Brrrr.
