For walk-in customers: We will have Bluecrop blueberries available in qt containers for $5.00 each. Limit 2 each. At this point we will be taking pre-orders for next week, August 24th; Carini’s were not certain they would have berries next week.
You can also travel to the farm for a U-Pick open Mon – Fri 9-5:30 and Saturday until noon. Address is 6332 152nd St, West Olive, MI 49460. Vicki Carini is in her 3rd year of transitioning a portion of the family blueberry business to organic and she hopes to be certified organic by next season.

This Saturday we will be at market, and will have along the following heirloom, certified organic beans:
Bean Medley – Random mixture of our beans, good for soup
Black Turtle – Common black bean, great in Mexican dishes (not an heirloom)
Painted Lady – Slightly sweet bean, smooth, creamy texture, good all-purpose bean
Pinto – Earthy flavor, great in Mexican cooking, fall apart under long cooking (not an heirloom)
Spanish Tolosana – Rich & creamy, hold shape well, good for chili, bean salads
Zebra – Smooth, creamy texture, full-bodied flavor, good all-purpose bean
We are close to the end of our supply on most beans. We have PLENTY of black turtle beans, however, and we have a great volume discount on them. $3.50 for 1 lb. $6.00 for 2 lbs. $12.50 for 5 lb. and on it goes. BUT, we need you to pre-order anything larger than 2#.
We will also have corn meal and grits/polenta along to market.
And we will be bringing our grass-fed lamb bratwurst (links and patties), and grass-fed lamb bones for making your own bone broth.
