Here’s what I’m bringing Saturday:
· Certified organic heirloom dry beans. 15 different varieties! Please email me ahead of time if you need bulk amounts (2# or 5# or more) of anything.
· Grass-fed, chemical-free lamb cuts. I’ll have leg of lamb along if you want to eat lamb for Easter.
· Get it now! Whole wheat pastry flour ground from certified organic soft red winter wheat grown by Earthkeepers Farm. Pastry flour is best for muffins, pancakes, quick breads, and more. Not suitable for baking yeast breads with. We will not be carrying this in the spring/summer, so if you’ve enjoyed this, stock up! Freezes well.
· Corn meal and grits/polenta. Check with me on this—depending on our miller’s schedule, we may or may not have some along!

Wormies Vermicompost of Grand Rapids
Wormies is a community-oriented worm composting operation in Grand Rapids. We collect food scraps from residents and businesses and recycle them into a nutrient and microbial rich fertilizer. The worm castings are returned to local soil to continue the life cycle as nature intended.
Our worm castings are ideal for:
– Mixing into soil for potted plants, planting seeds and transplanting.
– Topdressing soil for maturing plants and flowering plants.
– Brewing tea to spray on plants or soil.
Instructions
– General use: Mix 1 part worm castings to 3 parts soil.
What sets us apart from other producers of worm compost is the feed we provide to our worms. Our goal is to build an extraordinarily diverse set of microorganisms that will bring your soil to life. We understand that the microbiology necessary for our region should be cultured in our region. A bag of worm castings produced in California will not have the microbiology necessary for the Midwest.
