Monday Preorder List!
What with the Michigan winter finally getting real (and cold!) preorders are so important right now, and we are so grateful for all of you who understand that and put your orders in every week – THANK YOU!Laughing Tree Bakery needs your preorders by 6pm Tuesday. In today’s LT newsletter they asked: What’s your favorite toast? Mine is a slice of their Homesteaders, with a smooshed avocado sprinkled with Forest Finds herby Wild Salt and some EVOO. Just about every morning. How about you?

Stu’s hens have picked up the pace again and there is no limit on egg orders. Sarah at Pine Row also reports an increase in her egg production.

All other vendors will accept preorders until Friday evening but do check the Friday newsletter for updates.

We were glad to hear that long-time customer Lois Veenstra is recuperating well at home after her recent hospital stay.

In Case of Severe Weather: Cancellation Notice
If we need to cancel a market due to severe weather I will send out a separate email no later than Friday evening before a market notifying you that we will be closed. I will post the same message to our FB & Instagram pages as well as the website. If you know people who are regulars to the market and not in the habit of checking emails please let them know. Thanks!

Microgreens will be back on the market table this week!
I am currently trialing fenugreek microgreens as a potential addition to the microgreen menu in 2023. Last Saturday was their debut on the market table, and I am anticipating them to be a popular item!
The seeds smell just like maple syrup. Seeding these trays had me dreaming up a pancake brunch
While they boast a sweet scent, these greens are actually quite zippy in flavor. They are a versatile green packed with nutrition that can be used in an array of dishes – I recommend pairing them with a curry based dish.
Stop on down to @sweetwaterlocal this Saturday to give them a try
I will publish a list of available greens in Friday’s newsletter. Walk up sales only.
See ya Saturday!!
