Friday Update Newsletter
All I can say about this Saturday is that if you care about organic in any way shape or form you won’t miss this market! Just in terms of the precious organic fruit we’ve all been missing, we’ll have peaches, apples and watermelons available (and raspberries & elderberries if you get to market early)!

If you went on the Organic Bus Tour back some years ago you will remember touring Crow Feather Farm. They are now Crow’s Nest Ltd & Carolyn is back Saturday with some beautiful garlic for sale!

Liberty Farm made a late decision to return Saturday, so please take a look at their list and put in a preorder by Friday evening. They will have items for walk ups but best choice is a preorder.

As for the peaches, Sam reports she will also have a limited amount of half bushels for $50 and will also have peaches for walk up sales Saturday! See her listing if you want to reserve some. These are from Greg Mund’s farm, were certified organic and he took great pride in them.

Again, please consider preordering meats from the four farms with frozen meats this week: Pine Row Farm, The Pasturage, Scholl Farm & Liberty Farm. They only have so much space for freezers, coolers, etc and can’t bring everything…so order up, please!?

Thanks again, and hope to see you all at the Market!

Vendors Attending Saturday August 27th:

The Woven Farmstead of Whitehall
Wowieeeeee, peaches are the popular item this week!! I picked Thursday evening, and they are abundant as ever and sweet as can be! I have all current orders fulfilled (I haven’t gotten confirmation emails sent out yet, so no worries if you’ve placed an order and have not received a response!) I will have peaches available for walk up in both quarts ($6/quart) and half bushels ($50/half bushel.) – for folks who are interested in adding quantities to their current order, please send me an email to update your order!
NOTE: For the Half Bushel orders you will need to bring your own containers – mine are borrowed and need to return to owner!
As a reminder, these peaches are from Greg Mund’s farm, and all profits will be donated to WMEAC in his honor. They are organic, chemical free peaches. They are looking spectacular, but do have some marks/insect damage here and there due to their organic nature!
