Friday Update Newsletter

Beautiful fall weekend predicted, great time to scoop up all the fall fruits, veggies, meats and baked goods from the only FRESH LOCAL ORGANIC farmers market in West Michigan! There’s still time to get a preorder in on some items (apples!) but there will also be plenty for walk up sales.
Thanks again, and see you at the Market!

Vendors Attending Saturday October 1st:

The Pasturage of Montague
Are you enjoying those apples?!  Aren’t they good?!  Neither the Jensen’s nor I have cold storage, so if you want them throughout the fall, I highly recommend buying in bulk now and figuring out a place to store them.  We will have them at Sweetwater on 10/1 and 10/15.  We will NOT be at Sweetwater on 10/8 or 10/22.  I do not know if the apples will keep until 10/29, but if they do, I’ll plan to bring them then.  Feel free to pre-order; walk-ups welcome. Bring your own containers, please.
Prices are as follows:
Under 24# is $3.25/#
Over 24# is $3.00/#
Keep in mind 24# is about a half bushel, which nearly fills a paper grocery bag. I thank you for your patience as I fumble and figure this out!
Don’t forget to pre-order your pork and lamb as well Get the whole list here:

Forest Finds of Muskegon
New! Strawberry shrub! 4oz/11$
Organic strawberries extracted in apple cider vinegar and our raw honey. The combo of apple cider vinegar and honey is a good electrolyte mix. This makes a nice addition to sparkling or still water, for extra flavor and hydration. This is also a great addition to olive oil for a salad dressing.
