FRIDAY UPDATE
Pine Row Farm is still accepting your preorders until 5pm Friday.
Vendors Attending Saturday February 10th:

Pine Row Farm of Rothbury
Hello :-),
I will bring the usual walk up items weekly since market will be every week. Preorders are still recommended for items you consider crucial. I sometimes sell out, and it’s easier than guessing what everyone wants to eat all week!
We will accept orders until 5pm on Friday. I will try to get totals emailed out by 9:30pm on Friday. If you don’t get a response from me, please contact me. We accept cash or check payable to Pine Row Farm.
100% grass fed beef:
Prices listed are per pound. Orders are filled in the order we receive them.
Ground beef $7.25
Ground round, vacuum sealed $8.25
Ground sirloin, vacuum sealed $12.00
Burger patties $8.25

We sell by halves and quarters. Please let me know if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
Poultry
All of our poultry is free range, locked in nightly, and has certified organic feed. The August flock of 10 chickHens and 10 female ducklings have both begun to lay in the last week! Meanwhile, last week we were also down 12 dozen eggs from a couple of weeks ago. I’m assuming it was a delayed reaction from the cold snap and that they’ll soon be back to full production.
Chicken eggs are $6/dozen. Sold out

Glass canning jars:

The Pasturage of Montague
Our maples were dripping in the sun the other day. I asked one of the other vendors at Muskegon if their sap was running. They’re significantly further inland, and he said no, and that he hoped it wouldn’t run yet for awhile. I’m reading a book called Sweetgrass written by a Potawatomi botanist. I love the reverence their culture has for the maple. I didn’t know this until I started reading old first hand captivity narratives, but pretty much every Indian tribe abhorred salt. They seem to all love sugar. Sometimes I think to myself: Oh, how easy it would be to peddle sugar! But I don’t. I peddle meat. But like maple syrup, our meat is full of nutrients you won’t find in the super-abundant alternative stocked (seemingly forever) on the grocery store shelf. Check us out at www.thepasturage.com/order for all the things fit to eat
Check it out! Tootaloo!  Julie

INSTRUCTIONS FOR How to Pre-Order
1. Look over the list. Each vendor has a unique deadline for when they need to receive your pre-order depending on their product. Send your pre-order by email to each vendor you want to order from, within their required deadlines.
2. Vendors will respond back by no later than Friday before market day with an order confirmation and an invoice that in most cases will allow you to pre-pay for your order. If a vendor is not set up to take payment online they will accept checks (preferred) or cash on market day pickup.
