This will be our last market as a family before our big move to New Zealand! Gayle will be at the Nov 21st market to help our associate Will Hendrian with the turkey sales & deliveries. Will and his family have a farm nearby and he has been working with us for the last year planning to take over the chicken operation, with the help of his family, after we leave. We wish to thank all of you who have become our customers over the years and we will miss you all!

2009 Frozen Turkey & Chicken
Turkey Sausage. Breakfast, Italian, Brat & Chorizo. Breakfast & Italian in links or bulk. Turkeys were fed certified organic feed.
Ducks. Young and tender. The drakes weigh about 6 lbs.; the hens are just over 3 lbs.
Pastured turkey: Fed certified organic grain. We will have frozen packaged thighs, drumsticks, breast roast, sliced breast, and tenderloin.
Pastured chicken: Frozen chicken fed certified organic grains. We have all cuts—whole, cut up, bone-in and boneless skinless breast, drumsticks, thighs, leg quarters and wings, soup stock, feet, liver, hearts and gizzards. All of our meats are raised on pasture with daily moves, and are processed on farm: no stressful transporting.
Free-Range Eggs: Large. Supply limited this week, please shop early.
Grassfed Beef. We are selling remaining stocks of beef for our nephew John Filbrun, who raised the steer on our farm. Wendell, Rebecca & the kids have moved back to Ohio.
Hoophouse & Veggie Garden. Mixed greens & arugula! Beets, big onions. Kennebec & Red Lasota potatoes. Herbs: rosemary & sorrel.

Veggies this week: Potato Sale continues! Red Norlands are the most popular red-skinned potato ~ excellent boiled, mashed, & smashed. Russets are the standard baking potato- high in starch and low in moisture, so they bake well and yield light, fluffy mashed potatoes. They don’t hold their shape after cooking, so don’t use them to make potato salads or scalloped potatoes. We also have Russian fingerlings ~ buff brown skin / white flesh. Pak choi and Chinese Cabbages. Carrots, Salad Mix, Cabbages, Winter squash. Cilantro & Parsley. Beets, Celery, Red, White & Yellow onions; maybe some kale and chard but the deer have been bad this Fall, kohlrabis.
Organic Olive Oil! SALE! Bulk blended organic oil for sale for $30 in your quart jar. Also Moutere Grove from New Zealand ~ 250 ml $20; 500 ml $30 and bottled Catalan 250 ml $16; 500 ml $24, a new Greek oil and Mansur from Argentina.
