BEEF ~  We will have lean Ground Beef and Ground Round / Sirloin!  Try our beef.  Our steers are on lush rotational pastures from May to November.  They get all our quality hay they can eat, plus a little home-grown and ground- on-the-farm grain mostly in winter. Feeding cows small amounts of good grains are like humans eating small portions of dessert.  It’s ok for them as long as grass and legumes are their main diet.  The steers are hung to age and processed by Ebel’s Meats in Falmouth, a family-run USDA operation. Email us pre-orders by Friday 7pm.
Quarters of BEEF for sale.  This is the most economical way to purchase beef. Talk to me or email for more information.  www.earthscapefarm@gmail.com

Laughing Tree Brick Oven Bakery of Hart
Laughing Tree Brick Oven Bakery breads are all made from 100% organic flours and grains.  Nearly all of our breads are naturally-leavened using a levain that we cultivate on site in our bakery.  All of our doughs undergo a long, slow fermentation process that produces extraordinarily flavorful and easily digestible breads.  The grand finale:  our breads are baked in a handbuilt ,wood-fired brick oven which creates loaves of amazing texture and beauty!

Come early if you are able!  We often sell out before noon…

Beginning this week we will begin baking two specialty breads per week in addition to our nine weekly varieties. These specialty breads will be available as part of a rotation.

The Carriage House Gardens of  Spring Lake

Kim and Pepsi Coston will be bringing “armloads” of fragrant lavender as well as other flowers to their first market tomorrow.

From Kim:

In Paris and Nice, we are inspired by the ladies who come to town with armfuls of lavender to sell in markets or by the Metro.

Our lavender and hydrangeas have flourished naturally with  just the right Spring Lake alchemy of good soil, water, sun, terrain and loving care. At this time of year, we also have a large crop of hydrangeas, lilies and assorted herbs and flowers.

Having worked in the prestige fragrance and cosmetics business, Kim discovered the power of lavender’s aromatherapeutic benefits which are thought to be extraordinary.

Pepsi has done wildflower arrangements for events, weddings and the Harbor House B&B  in the past. The garden is Pepsi’s passion and  has been nurtured by Pepsi since 1988, with some help from Kim in recent years.
