We  welcome back Heritage Farm & Lydia LaCroix. Lydia thinks she will have enough either Jewel or Patriot berries for at least several markets but if you want to be sure to get some come this week!

Ed’s Farm of Spring Lake

Ed Bisacky is a new farmer who is farming on several acres of the family land he grew up on in Spring Lake. Though the land hasn’t been farmed for years (his grandparents were farmers) he has been busy clearing the brush & scrub and has the good fortune of having wonderful soil to work with. This week he will bring beets, swiss chard, dino  kale, lettuce and zuccini squash, and assorted herbs.

Funny Farm of Grant

We’ll be at market with our CSA shares as well as garlic, kale, okra, cucumbers and pickles, basil, summer squash, potatoes. See you there!

 

Shady Side Farm of Holland

Mike from Shady Side Farm will be at market this week with his certified organic dry beans and wool products. Lona’s been weaving, and Mike will have several new rugs along this week. We appreciate your business and your continued prayers and good wishes for rain for our crops.

 

Chickadee Creek of Nunica

We’ll be at the market with eggs, a lot of squash, zucchini, slicing cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, and possibly some okra.

 

Maple Moon Farm of Hart

We’re back, and we have TOMATOES! Cucumbers! Trombocino summer squash!  Kale, garlic, green beans, peas, carrots, large bunches of basil, and a variety of fresh herbs.  We also have herbal teas, grown and blended on our farm.

HAVE YOU TRIED OUR GRANOLA LATELY?  Choose from: Mountain Crunch Granola (pure vanilla, toasted almonds, and organic coconut oil) and Laughing Tree Peanut Butter Granola (all-natural PB, pure vanilla, and Michigan honey).

Baked in our wood-fired brick oven several days after the intense bread-baking heat has dissipated.  This ensures that the nutrients in the grains and seeds remain intact!  Please note, these granolas are SWEETENED ONLY WITH MICHIGAN HONEY!  There is absolutely no refined sugar in them.  They are both wonderful with milk or yogurt or as part of a trail mix.  Our children love them!  We often have samples of each variety available at market—come have a taste!

In the 1960s the genetic stock was derived from heritage breeds to meet the standards of the French Label Rouge Free Range program. These chickens are born grazers, foraging for up to 30% or more of their diet. Whole & cuts available.

Fresh & Frozen. Pastured Chicken-Cornish Cross. Chickens rotated daily getting up to 20% of their diet from grass.
