VEGGIES ~  Daikon Radishes, Cabbages, Cauliflower! Winter Squash!  Broccoli!  Carrots! Beets for canning and eating fresh; Eggplant (Roast it and freeze it!);  A few tomatoes? depends on whether I get to the canning;  Potatoes; Tomatillos, Lots of  Sweet Peppers in red, green, purple, and yellow; Hot peppers.  Herbs: Parsley, Dill, Cilantro, and Rosemary.

MAPLE MOON KALE and RADISHES:  We’ll be bringing some of their veggies this week while they are on vacation.

BEEF ~  BEEF SALE:  We have some cuts left over from April’s butchering that are on sale $1 off per lb.  Our steers are on lush rotational pastures from May to November.  They get all our quality hay they can eat, plus a little home-grown and ground-on-the-farm grain mostly in winter. Feeding cows small amounts of good grains are like humans eating small portions of dessert.  It’s ok for them as long as grass and legumes are their main diet. We think it improves the flavor and tendersness. The steers are hung to age and processed by Ebel’s Meats in Falmouth, a family-run USDA operation.

Quarters of BEEF for sale.  This is the most economical way to purchase beef. Steers go to the Butcher on Monday – If you want to buy a quarter and order your own processing, now is the time!  Talk to me or email for more information.  www.earthscapefarm@gmail.com
