Just a brief note and update on our schedule.  First and foremost we’d like to thank all of you for your kind notes, gifts, and understanding over the last ten days.  Our disappointment in losing Pippin has been assuaged to a degree by the balm of our communities care for us in so many ways.  We are currently enjoying some time at home with each other and catching up on the details of life.  We expect to begin baking again for the weekend of May 12, at which time we will be attending both the Sweetwater Local Foods Market and the downtown Muskegon market.  We will also continue making our goods available to all our store accounts.   We look forward to reconnecting with you all soon.

Most sincerely

Hilde and Charlie

Feeding cows small amounts of good grains are like humans eating small portions of dessert.  It’s ok for them as long as grass and legumes are their main diet.  The steers are hung to age and processed by Ebel’s Meats in Falmouth, a family-run USDA operation.
