Cultured Love of Grand Rapids
We’ll have our 5 kraut flavors for sale and sampling: All-organic ingredients, naturally fermented, and probiotic. Never cooked, raw and vegan, with no vinegar or starter culture, our Kraut is good on its own, or added to many other dishes, providing great flavor and nutrients.
· Carry Me Away – Traditional caraway kraut, as you find on a Reuben sandwich. This kraut is closest to what many grandmothers made in large crocks in their basement.
· Dillyicious – Our best-seller. Tastes like a pickle. Onion, garlic, dill, and turmeric. Our “gateway kraut” for those who say “I don’t like sauerkraut”.
· Purple Hot & Spicy – Onion, garlic and Cayenne. Hot for some, not so hot for others.
· Curryosity – We love India and Indian food. This kraut is a highly versatile addition to many dishes, or by itself.
· Root for Ginger – Our nod to Kim-chee, with similar ingredients — Carrot, radish, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Just a little heat.
We’ll also have “Good Food Good Mood” t-shirts and totes.

Bloom Ferments of Grand Rapids
Bloom will be at the market with bottles of ginger kombucha. I will also have sign up sheets for my upcoming Happy Tummy Workshops, as well as handmade terrariums with live succulents from Succulent Cultivations.
Shady Side Farm of Holland
We will have 16 varieties of our certified organic beans along this week. These beans are all grown on our farm south of Grand Haven, and are available in 1 or 2# bags. Please let us know ahead of time if you’d like to order 5# bags of any one variety, so that we can pre-bag those and bring them along.

We also have a freshly-ground batch of our corn meal and grits, ground for us at Windmill Island in Holland. These products are ground from Wapsie Valley open pollinated (non-GMO) organically certified corn grown on our farm.

More shiitake mushrooms are ready! The rain and cool nights made a nice batch pop and size up for this weekend! They may go another week, you never know, they have their own schedule.  There may be a small batch of asparagus, but next week should start the bigger harvest. Pray for no frost!
A friend called with ramps from his wooded area, I’ll bring them along this week. What a treat!
I hope to find more baby kales and sprouts for Saturday, maybe some parsley and par-cel, too. Horse radish leaves add a tangy flavor to salads, etc. I’ll have a few doz eggs available, too.
The transplanting continues, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants are done, next planting of greens, along with more herbs to be seeded and transplanting starts this week out in the field.
