The Roaring Mouse of Hart
This cooler weather is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea! Either way you like it, we have you covered! Every week we have 4-6 varieties of freshly roasted coffee, and 5+ varieties of loose leaf tea. We also have some amazing fair-trade organic chocolate barks, and chocolate covered coffee beans! We can only bring a few varieties of our chocolates to the market each week, so be sure to check out our list on Facebook and pre-order if there is something specific you want.

We are not planning to attend market on Saturday Sept 5 for Labor Day Weekend, so stock up this week!

Featured coffee of the week! This week we are featuring our Guatemala Antigua FTO. This is a delicious light-medium roast, with a full creamy body, and a mild acidity. The aroma is floral, and the flavor is complex, with layers of baking spices like cinnamon, cloves, and ginger.

We will also plan to bring our Ethiopia Amaro Gayo, Guatemala FTO, Papua New Guinea FTO, Colombia FTO, and Sumatra Decaf.

As always, we sell our coffee by the ounce so you can get the perfect amount to use while it is the freshest. We also have gift certificates; the perfect gift for a coffee lover!
Come taste the fresh difference! Coffee is seasonal, so expect some variety. We try not to roast too much extra in order to keep the coffee fresh every week.

Our list has gotten too long to include here, so check out our Facebook page for the full list of what we have available.

Email us to order in advance, and we will have it bagged up and ready for you. Advance orders will ensure that we don’t run out of your favorite coffee before you get there, and speed up your shopping if you are in a hurry!

Bonao Cacao of Muskegon
This Bonao cacao is raw, organic and carefully hand picked to insure premium quality. The farm located in the Dominican Republic uses earth friendly practices and even holds “The cacao experience” where people can come see the farm, learn and have fun participating in the farming! Cocoa comes from the cacao tree and then is roasted and processed to make the powder and chocolates everyone loves. However, during this process many of the nutrients and antioxidants are lost. Cacao is the same as cocoa but in a raw form, allowing the beans to stay in it’s natural state to give you the best benefits possible. Come check us out this Saturday for a sample of the bean itself and to learn more! We have beans, powder, nibs, butter and tasty healthy chocolates! We look forward to seeing everybody Saturday!

NEW! Smoked Gouda – I’ll have samples along. Sounds delicious!

Meadow View Goat Dairy of Fremont
We’ll be bringing our Sweet Corn, Incredible, and usual assortment of fresh and aged Chevre’s this Saturday!
Chevreʹ  Fresh chevre with a nice spreading consistency, perfect for sandwich toppings and cooking. Cherry Capital Foods of Traverse City says  ” The chèvre produced by Meadow View has a pitch perfect acidity on the palate that becomes gently sweet and milky with a grassy note on the finish.”
Seasoned Chevreʹ
Our fresh Chevre available in your favorite flavorings: Blueberry Vanilla (great on a morning bagel!) Hickory-smoked bacon Bits, Garlic, Italian Herb, & Hot Pepper
Feta
A smooth and creamy feta which is low in salt and rich in fresh goat milk flavor. The brining process gives feta cheese a salty, tangy flavor and a crumbly consistency. Feta cheese can be served as a table cheese, used in baking savory dishes, or served as an appetizer or in salads. The classic Greek salad is made with Feta cheese. In crumbles or cubes for easy slicing.
Tomme de Fremont
Our first aged cheese is quickly becoming a customer favorite! Developed from a French recipe, Tomme is a lower fat mold ripened cheese, aged at least 60 days. This gives the cheese a stronger flavor & firmer texture than the fresh Chevres, perfect for slicing.
Dutch Kase
A Meadow View Dairy original! If you are looking for a nicely aged but milder version of our Tomme, this is the cheese for you. Vacuum sealed without mold and aged at least 60 days.
