Sweetwater Saturday May 23rd One Hour 10am – 11am Drive Through Pre-Order Market

Sweetwater Local Foods Market
DRIVE-THROUGH Pre-Order Market
Saturday, May 23rd, 2020
Limited One Hour Market: 10:00am to 11:00am
Mercy Health Lakes Village
6401 Harvey St. at US31/Pontaluna Rd.
To our Sweetwater Community:
Thank you all for your cooperation in helping make this One Hour Pre-Order Drive Up Market work! With over 486 positive cases of Covid19 and 23 deaths in our community we are trying to do everything we can to keep all of us safe and still enjoy fresh local foods. Like all area farmers markets we are now requiring all vendors to wear masks. If you are new to the market please read the directions below and see the map. Here are the steps to take to secure your place in line this coming Saturday, May 23rd:

1. Look over the list below. Each vendor has a unique deadline for when they need to receive your pre-order depending on their product. Send your pre-order to each vendor you want to order from, within their required deadlines.
2. Vendors will respond back by no later than Friday before market day with an order confirmation and an invoice that in most cases will allow you to pre-pay for your order. If a vendor is not set up to take payment online they will accept checks (preferred) or cash in a sealed envelope on market day pickup.
3. Market Day. Important! Please see the attached map with arrows indicating which way you should plan to approach the market.
Please plan to line up and stay in your vehicleWe will also have signs to help point you in the right direction.
4. Please note! Using a sheet of paper at least 8.5 x 11, please list all of the vendors you have orders with in black marker (or something as visible), large enough for vendors to see it clearly.  Please put your first & last name at the top of the list. Tape or hold up the list to the side window or front windshield where it will be most visible. It’s very helpful if you make two signs, one for each side, so that way vendors don’t have to cross back and forth in front of your vehicle to see your list.
5. Have your trunk, or designated area of your car ready to receive your goods. As weather warms (if it ever does) think about bringing a cooler for frozen, refrigerated items.
6. As you drive through, each vendor will bring your order to your vehicle and place it in the trunk or other designated space, and collect payment if you have not paid in advance. Again, please have checks (preferred) or cash in a sealed envelope with your name and the name of the vendor on the outside of it.

Our inventory will change each week depending on what’s ready in the greenhouse. Our online order form contains the current inventory for this week: https://forms.gle/55vb9mnL4ACMw5JF7.
