Veggies this week ~ Acorn Squash on sale! Little Decorative Pumpkins! Potatoes; Watermelons; Celery. Beets. Sweet Peppers, including red, yellow, purple and green. Hot Peppers. Eggplant. Large yellow and red onions, kale, mixed salad greens, Swiss chard, arugula, parsley, dill, rosemary, basil in bunches and gallons for making pesto.
BEEF ~ We will have almost all cuts of our pastured Angus. ON SALE: Swiss (Cubed) Steak. This is round steak, a very flavorful, lean, but not as tender cut of beef that is run through a tenderizer so it cooks quicker. I like to make Swiss Steak with it. It’s also good for any stew or soup or moist, longer cooking process. 10% off.
